I fly mine in the morning and it works great. I think it usually depend on where you live. I'm not sure though. In the afternoon is where the BOP fly in the sky and look for food in my area. And in the late afternoon is where it hit most.

For me it has to be a broken scedual, also ill fly them anytime i see the rvens in the large groups, that's reacently been the bonus for me. Generally the best time for me wouls be sunrise as living in a lake town the wind picks up heavy around 11:00 am ans is stiff until the ladder part of the afternoon..

Redchecker16..looks like it all boils down to personel preference. I fly both A.M. and P.M.,but never at the same time everyday. Thus when the BOP are around, they never get set on the same time for dinner..lol

I fly them in the morning around 7:00 AM when they are young, don't want them to geth the afternoon winds and stick to the wrong pattern.

After they are older and know how to fly correctly you can fly them in the afternoon in the heat. If you fly them in the cool mist every time and your fly day is hot they will not want to fly or perform the same.

I notice this when I only fly them in the morning every time and my friends came over in the afternoon and it was hot the birds landed like in 10 minutes.

Here it is always cooler and calmer in the mornings with very little or no breeze. This teaches the birds to fly calm and steady and they learn to set up for the breaks better.

Gotta find what works for you, i have lived in places where i could fly a young bird team 2 times a day, in the begining stages. In my opion the more time on the wing the more they develope, at least for my family of rollers..
