I enjoy my birds like it was a brand new game that just came out. Every time that I see them fly and when they break that is one of the best feelings I get. I have never been with out rollers ever before. When I was small my dad had rollers and they had no money to buy me games. The only thing I did was play with his birds.

Every one fly's there birds for fun, who wouldn't.

Most of us do like deep birds the problem is they take a little more to regroup. I have some that are deep but I will not use them for competition just for fun. The deepest birds I have seem were from BoB Scott strain. This birds would go in the 100+ feet and regroup but were seldom.

PR ROLLERS On my profile I have my Contact info.

Pensom warn us about competition birds,,some are breeding for not so deep for points .those deep one can hurt your score...but they are deep one out there...that 11 bird comp..helps keeping them coming.. .

Yea Big White rolling birds for fun has been, the regular for me. i havent really been able to compete till this last year, i can see how one would get fusterated with comp kinda it's buisness orentaited. i wanna be competitive and ill put up, but the main thing is having a good time, so i try to surround my self with that type of roller people. There should be more "fun fly's", with a B.B.Q cook off...man I'm hungry.

Big White,

Flying for the fun of it is my middle name. Sure we all want the best but give me some ice tea, a chair and a kit or 2 to watch and let the fun begin!

The only time I can say that flying birds isn't fun is when you have too many birds on hand to fly out. Some guys just breed way too many birds for them to handle or fly out. That and the BOP issue.

Besides that, we all fly for our enjoyment. The only people who aren't enjoying their birds aren't flying.

I strictly roll birds "The Old Fashioned Way":

====> To preserve the unique aerial-dynamic performing qualities (kitting, depth, velocity and style) inherent only to the Birmingham Roller pigeon which was imported from the Black Country in the early 1900's.

Hmm.... I guess one could say I'm having fun.

Gotta admit though.... not much fun in cleaning up pigeon poop every day (LOL).
