LOL.. man all i can say is keep livin the dream!!!
Awesome. Do you do any fresh water fishing. I do more fresh water fishing than salt. But I like fishing the bay, ocean, and deep sea. I caught a lot of yellow-tail when I went deep sea fishing. I've always wanted to go fishing for giant squid. I want to eat it so bad. In the summer, I'll be fishing again. Now is too cold, but it's perfect for LargeMouth Bass.
WaTtS UpP, Good job, looks like you had a great day on the ocean. Someday I'd like to give it a try but since I live so far from the ocean, I'll have to settle for catching catfish and bass. Fishing is fishing it's all good!
Cool WaTtS, Those sre nice squid there.I fished Albacore commercially a couple times 100 miles off Vancouver Island.Blue water, flat seas, tropical fish. The 1st time I did it was back in '78 and I was the only guy in the stern pulling the fish, skipper(WE'RE IN THE FISH KELLY,WE'RE IN THE FISH!!!) just kept the boat on them in big circles and it was all hand pulling we had 2 1/2 tons in 2 days.1st day was blisters,2nd day raw flesh across inside of my knuckles even with gloves. No stopping till dark.We called 'em footballs as they are so hard to stack when frozen. Thanks for the memories. ---------- Kel. It's huge alright Watts Upp, but not as tasty as the albacore tuna or squid that you caught. In fact we took it straight to the market and sold it. I believe it went for 25 cents a pound. (Paid for some of the gas we used) We did catch some smaller skip jack tuna, wahoo and mahimahi that we took home. Hey PR, there's a very large winch at the dock that we used to put that baby in the back of the truck with. ---------- Aloha, Dexter
Not really, it took about 30 min. to get it to the boat. (I was in a lot better shape back then, being just out of the military.) Probably take about 5 hrs now. :) ---------- Aloha, Dexter
Yeah WaTtS UpP im still here. I'm still trying to get everything situated with the City. They have'nt decided yet if they are gonna make me get rid of my birds or not. My fingers are staying crossed!... I've already moved them out and am now just waiting for good or bad news.. I'll keep you posted.
