How about everyone that has been flying in kit competition or has experience in flying kits, get an apprentice. Lets give them what we didn't have. Pick someone that is new to the hobby or been in it less than 2 yrs. You have to answer all of their questions and them ready to fly in the Fall Fly 2008.

This got to be hard. I've just got into Birmingham roller, less then 2 years, and I don't even know anything about flying yet. I've never experience it before. As an apprentice, one got to work their a$$ off really hard. LOl.

You're right diamondrollers, not to many starters got Top of the Line birds, I mean Champion (stock) birds.

But I think buying a whole kit birds and training them is a good start. I think Tony C use to do that. I remember a friend of mine order a whole kit of Ruby Roller from him and train them by himself, he also got very good at it. It's a start.

i dont think that would happen people like to keep there secrets to them selfs lol no it sounds like a good idea are they going to set the guy up with good birds so they can be competitive know what i mean not to many new guys got real good stock

Its just taking a new fancier under their wing and showing them the ropes. the flyers need to have experience in flying in comp. or have had to be in at least 4 yrs. I have no problem showing someone the ropes. ask lil steve. LOL.

I like to teach the little I know. Thats why I coach. Anybody that knows me will tell you, I have no problem answering questions about rollers. I am always willing to help.
