Even if it became cheap enough(wich i highly doubt it..at least in my lifetime)i don't believe i would. In my opinion things have their natural order for a reason and that should not be messed with!It is my hope that if this ever becomes something that is done on a frequent basis....There isn't a big hefty price to go along with it!

And i don't mean $$$$$ wise!!

If cloning become possible in the future. I would but does it work? If it does work then I probably will. But I don't think that is the spirit of the hobby. NO MORE FUN.

I think it won't work on a good rollers because you can clone it body but not its spirit..the goods that makes him do what he likes to do with ease, the heart...you can clone food and get the same type of food let say an apple because it don't have a spirit so you can get the same food. or a human being but you can't clone his spirit.....thas what i think..

A cloned bird would have the exact some genetic makeup as its donor but would not necessarily roll the same. Each bird as is develops receives different feed, has different health concerns, competes with different birds, learns to roll with different kit mates and in different weather conditions. If I was going to clone a bird it would be my best breeder and not my best spinner as a clone of a good breeder should produce exactly like its donor bird, at least in theory.

PR roller, i agree with you...you can clone the meat but can't clone its heart and soul...no 2 bird breed from the same parents will perform exactly the same......JMO
