One thing our Hobby can never be accused of is not having some helluva BS'ers some of the stuff I read and have heard is Incredible .

Like I have a great strain but I dont compete or How about I only breed for the True Birmingham Roller.

Then theres my favorite the ones that tell everyone how great there Birds are but never have a kit to Fly.

You are right about that George, I feel what is the use in having them if you don't want to fly them?

It is just my personal preference I like to fly and I have no problem's with those who perfer not to or who can not due to conditions.

Whats wrong with having good birds but not competing? Some people just love rollers and dont feel the need to compete and the way all the pigeon thieveing is going here in the UK i dont no wether ill bother flying this year myself.

Steve-uk,
I agree with you.Not everyone feels the need to compete and win just to show others how good a managers they are or the quality of their birds.Besides, with the way the BOPs are these days,it's sometimes impossible to train a kit without having them destroyed. And not everyone has a desire to see their name up in bright lights because they have won a fly.

my birds are crap, but I fly every chance I get. Our state club, national and state fall fly, and this will be my second year in W/C. I really work too many hours to be as competitive as I would like but I still try. I love to get out and see the other flyers , their birds and their setups. I`ve learned the most that way.
