Maybe your hens are young. Pigeon don;t always legs 2 eggs, it rarely happen though. This usually happens to my young birds.

hey john is this their first round...well if it is u can just throw it away...and look forward for the second round maybe two eggs will come out this time....if not those two hens have laying problems..should get lots of vitamins for them two....good luck with them...

you know what i had a couple of hens that only laid one egg but like you said thier young and my hens are first time laying.

One thing that i have found that works for me is breaking the birds up for a month or two prior to putting them down. for me this makes all the pairs really eager. maby you have done this, and i also agree with the other posts. Maby the bird is young. I would rest the hens and sup them up, for a couple of weeks. hope this helps.

one hen is 05 and other 07...last year 05 was excellent in laying egg..but this is only the first round.

shadow, is the internal fat a bad thing. I never heard of this. I thought the breeders if given all they can eat is a good thing,fat sassy hens with plenty of grit= plenty of eggs.hmmmm

Just be patient. I had a young bird from Paul Gomez that laid one egg untill her third round. So I dont think that you are doing anything wrong. If you are feeding and watering you should not have anything to worry about
