I like mine anywhere from 20-100 feet plus with velocity and control...

For Competition i like mine to be between 20 to 35 feet approx but i do breed the occasional deeper bird.
But i do love to see deep quality birds i must admit theres nothing finer.

Deep depth is great to me,, BUT if there slow or sloppy ,,cull's to me ..They must have high velocity ,,style and clean coming out of the action. Depth is my last choice ,,, not to say ,,I do like depth

I like them 30' but will take a 15' fast spinner with a good work rate.(twice per min)

Most electrical poles stick above the ground between 30 -40 ft! I have used them as a reference to judge how deep they roll!
Some will use 1 sec per 10 ft! Ex.- 3 sec.= approx 30 ft!
Just some ideas!

10' is perfect..Easy on the body, and never leave the kit..AND, score-able.
