Would anybody possibly have a loft/kit that is 4x4 that you could show me? How many birds can you keep in something this size?
Thanks a lot,
Andrew

Here ya go, I built this before I began to learn about Rollers, it's plans are on Scott Bird Dog Supply.
It is set up with removeable nest shelves and reported to house 8 pair but all said it isn't large enough for more than 4 pair.
Hope this helps, it works OK for a Kit Box but there are much better designs. ---------- "Semper Fi" SD

This is a nice kit cage that was rafle on the previous show. You can fit 28 birds but is always better to have extra perches than extra culls. This is a little smaller than 4x4 but its' close to it.

Not to be a know it all, but;-) If your box is four ft. deep it is really hard to reach the perch's. The best(for me) is 4'high 4' wide, and 3' deep, this allows you access to all the perch space without streching and accidentally injuring a bird. Hope this helps.

You are exactly right Thom, it is nigh on impossible to reach to the back of the nest shelves, especially the top ones. This looked like a good idea, but it isn't the best idea. You must a been an NCO, us shave-tails aren't known for being too smart! LOL ---------- "Semper Fi" SD

This is my kit section, I dont have sizes I just build it and it works for me. There is four kit boxes and I can fly a fifth kit from the right end behind the water holder, it also has a seperate trap on now. One can see I build it myself... LOL

Roy, you are correct, give the man a bannana. Plane capt., jet engine mech. Three hash marks and crossed rifles. Jar head forever.
Salas, she is a Giant Malamute, 140 lbs. of furry love. She also thinks the birds are hers and only allows me to feed them because she has no thumbs!
