Marcus - Danny treaty me fairly because of Bill Patrick (who was my dearest friend). Johnny Reyes was really close to Danny McKenzie as well as George Burkes who I use to be close to at one time. Danny has passed away and he had many birds from Bill Pensom (Red headed hen, 6009 and 514) and some from Lester Lehmeyer and Bob Scott.

QUESTION: What year did B. Scott actually pass away?

Dan had lots of birds from 6009-6056 from Patrick birds.Bill got the Pensom (Niter Cock) off of the Red Headed Hen and pulled some fine birds out of him before he got out and lost. Bill was on 5th st and I was on 3rd in Manhattan Beach CA. Dan was in Lawndale.

JDA - I would be willing to bet you are Joe Asaro but how would I know that? Bill Patrick was and is to me one of the best rollermen around. He was honest, kind and a hell of a man. He sent me a Christmas card every year and I would call Bill at least 4 times a month an talk for hours. I really mis BEP! The last time I visited him we had a wonderful time. He really went down after his wife died.

1) Hen or Cock 25Ft nice ball
2) High Velocity Tight Spinning Hen* 15ft+ or more in depth.
Hen* must show that sweet donut hole in the middle and be frequent on turns.

It might be time for you to lock down. I've been on locked down but wanted to test the skys a few days ago so let out my #3 team and 19 went up and 16 returned, 3 coopers, 1 red tail and 1 falcon hit my kit that day. So back on lockdown...

I've been on lock down for all of the month of December. Not only have the hawks caused me bitter turmoil by ransacking and pillaging my kits, but it has been just too darn cold to fly birds out here in Northern California.
NOTE: Thought I'd add that I do not like to fly birds when it's less than 50 degrees farenheit outside.

Marcus we are back to normal winter temps of mid 30's for the high and low 20's for te low we are still digging out from the last big snowstorm on christmas eve.
I have not seen an airshark in a week ( Knock on wood ) so I have been flying the birds. I had one roll down that sunk himself about 6" in the snow I know he would have went further if the snow would have been soft.
The birds are coming into some nice roll now and I am going to keep most if not all my pairings the same this year they did such a good job this last year.

BOP are on the rampage up here in Northern California. Preservation of the flock is key priority for me.
Much time has been spent into the breeding/training/flying of Birmingham Roller pigeons here at Deep Spin Lofts.

Hi,
I was interested to note import AERC-66-997.
The AERC had started 2 years previous in 94, so already they were handling around 1000 rings. Anyone know which loft that bird came from?
