Yang,
I beleive some families of birds can deteriorate after a couple of years and others can keep it up for 6,7,8 years or more.
My expereince with Jac's are that they last at least 5 years or more.
It all depends on the choices the breeder that formed the line you received made when choosing stock.

Hello yang, thanks for posting. My suggestion is for you to contact the 2 breeders themselves so they can talk with you directly.
In all fairness, everyone's experience and abilities with these two family's might not be the same and you will probably get responses saying "yes" and "no" leaving you no better off than when you asked the question. Talk to the originator of the strain for the best source if you can. Good luck! ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

My experience with the Jacs is they get better when they age. The more you fly them the better they get. Go figure…
