Hi

Good looking birds Wayne, the birds here that is Ollie Harris decedents tend to throw crests if you inbreed them. Is it the same with yours?

A stock cock is usually a proven bird that gets promoted to your breeding loft through at least a couple of years of hard earned performances in the air.

Jim
Les bezance seems to get crested birds also does Gordon Daffern but i have never bred a crest and if i did i couldnt show it on here Scotty would never stop laughing lol

Nice looking specimens W@yne. I like the 1st & 3rd cocks.

...also

Those pearl eyed checks/white flights appear to be the type noted for high velocity spinning and superb kitting.

QUESTION: You know any roller breeders/trainers in Staffordshire?

Yes you are correct the dark coloured bird white flights are common in certain parts of the country and they can sure roll.
I only have pearl eyed birds but eye colour varies in different lofts.
I know of only an handful of flyers from the Staffordshire areas its around 1 hr drive from me.
If you drive 25 mins drive south of staffordshire your in Black country west midlands [Birmingham) where there is still lots of keen flyers around today

Lee i have records that say Fran Pickles was a flyer and active member of the Aerc in 1972 i would love to have more info on Frank i think Peter Harper would be the guy to help us with the info.
I would love some info on Len Harris also.
Len was another member of the AERC in 1972 and i know George Mason had birds from Len.

Wayne, these are the type of birds I was talking about in another post.
the expression is right, they are neither too strong nor weak, same pysicaly, look at my fosters and you will see super strong looking birds that look super, not what I want in stock though.

Just my Opinion
