One of my bird eats earth worms...is that natural? I noticed him actaully stalk earth worms like a freakin robin...he'll walk around and pick one or two up at a time...I'll have to lock him up if i see him do that...I just don't know if it is natural.

Around here in downtown Cleveland they eat chicken wings!!!! They don't care if it had hot souse on it either.

And when the May flies come out from the lake by the millons, they wait for them and pick them off of the glass of the buildings. It is like a line up with all the birds in town.

If it walks like a robin, talks like a robin, must be a robin. Are you sure one of the parents wasn't a robin?

I don't let my birds go to the ground so I am clueless to them preferring worms over grains... mine are natural grain eaters for some odd reason.

Yellowking it's best to never let your birds get into the habit of foraging for food.Let them out hungry and call them in with the feed can pronto..when they land.It doesnt work all the time.Sometimes mine stay outside and i have to chase them off the ground for a while before they trap!

One other reason to not let them get into the habit of going to the ground is if they're lollygagging outside the loft after they fly, they're excellent targets for the BOP.Let em out just before regular feeding time and don't overfeed.----------
