Just wondering if anybody has flown a kit of birds celibate for any degree of time,if so what was the performance as opposed to flying them/as when kept together, and flown as mixed kit.

I fly cock kits and hen kit all the time. Some go as long as a year without ever seeing a bird of the opposite sex. I have not noticed any difference in performance at all.

I have seperated kits befor by sex but generally just in the spring when the cocks start getting frisky. There has never really been a difference in the performance. I seperate them because I dont like the cocks chasing the hens on the roof. Just leads to hungry birds and leaves them more suceptible to preditors.
