A few years ago I was talking to Dick Stephens about a cock bird I had that came from him, and he mentioned a bird in his backround called THE BOSS. Does anyone know of this bird and anything about its backround. Dick did say my bird was from his old Smith-Plona stuff.

I got to know Dick very well back in the late 90's. I even have a copy of pensoms book that Dick made notes in that were from Bill Its photo copied from the original book. And he sent it to me many years back. I just found it and put it a way for old time sakes. I did have a bunch of dicks pedigrees but I think I did away with them when I gave the birds away. But I will look and see if I can find them and if I do I will let you know. But I'm guessing they are still packed away in the attic stuff LOL LOL.
But I will keep you in mind

thanks Brian. If I remember right, Dick said he was a well known pigeon in the day. Not that It really matter a lot, just curious about the history side of the bird. BCR 99-101 was a great bird for me. I hope I can do him justice in his offspring.
