Ater flying a small team without incident for the past 2 weeks i decided to let out the full kit.Big mistake, the red tails once again showed me who's boss up there.Within 2 min. there were 3 red tails harrasing my birds one got caught and 2 others go lost(i think the other 2 red tails got their meal out of sight)Very dissapointing day for me.I really thought i could start getting them going.Boy was i WRONG !!!!Tough pill to swallow..time after time.

At my place, there is mostly sliver-wings. They don't really attack my birds that much, but the cooper is the pain in the butt. They come out of nowhere and snatch my birds like crazy. I'm waiting for them to get out of my area, so I can start flying my birds again. The red tail here is very smart, they come at a full speed toward my house, but below my house and comes out of the roof and try to catch them. They did this a couple of time. I got them scared by flying 5 kites in the air and they never came again.

My red tails are resident bops and the best i've seen is they'll taper down on attacks from time to time. When they start hunting like today i worry about not being able to properly train my kits(they'll chase the birds up high and hit them frequently when they kit up).Red tails keep coopers at bay most of the time but they are a real nuisance themselves(at least here)! My birds start to dot out everytime they are flown after being hit to frequently.
