119 - The PRC is a private sponsored club. We do not sell bands unless someone is a member of the club. We are actually to capacity right now and all bands have been issued to members for the 2008 year. Send me a private e-mail so we can talk about sponsorship. The PRC uses the 30 point system for individual and multi bird competitions.

All of the PRC members have Pensom Rollers and not the show rollers that were passed as Pensom rollers. Send me an e-mail at ldoucet@spfldcol.edu and we can discuss the club in more details.

Harry,
Once I asked Cornell Norwood what was the best blood to go for out of 514. Cornell was the most knowledgeable person I have ever known concerning Pensoms' family. He told me that the 119 cock was the one that was producing the best spin.
Congratulations in keeping that blood the way you have.

ezee,At one point with 514 blood i managed to line breed, then went to an inbred 514 hen, then to a line out of 119 an 514, the pedigree showed these offspring were "BOXED" In other words, where ever you tried you could NOT get out of the pedigree without crossing 514,then with abig smile I decided to count the number of times 514 was in the pedigree???this fabulous hen showed up 54 times,,,,WITH NO ESCAPE,,,these offspring WERE 514,,This is why i could understand Pensom a little better than most, because I have OLD pedigrees and I see that he even went against what he wrote,he had reached a point so high that his matings changed, by that I mean DARK TO DARK 119x514,=1233 all dark, so dont let these guys try to tell you 514 is history or 119 is a thing of the past.IT comes down to one thing....they cant breed it....thats why Pensom said most birds cant be called Birmingham Rollers HE KNEW THEN! guess ill shut up, take care...Harry
