You can use any kind of loft as a seperation loft.Best if the hens can't see the cocks and even better if they can't hear 'em.----------

You still need protection from the elements(rain,wind)and like I mentioned I would prefer to have a wood wall in between the cocks and hens so they can't see each other.High enough to walk into is good,but a spare kitbox will suffice.

Tou look at the pictures that I send you to your email the last time. A kit cage can be a seperation loft we just call it seperation loft It can be anything. When we seperate the hens in one side and the cocks in the other side. Like right now I'm using my kit cages as seperation loft. I have all the hens in one kit cage and my cocks in the other one and all my young birds are in the third one.

Look at the post on WEST they have a loft that is perfect to use as a seperating loft. Make sure the cocks and the hens can't see each other or hear each other as well. The hens well laid eggs by looking at the cock and they have certain eggs that they will laid in their life time only so you need to take care of that.
