Just checking your status to see if you were going to fly with us this year?.. We are splitting up into 3 regions due to the distance from the members.. If your not flying, then that will be 1 less guy that I have to beat!..hehe
I have informed those at the meeting last saturday that they might as well make my trophy now. I have the spot picked out for it.
We are attempting to get it set up so that the winner from each of the 3 regions will compete against each other at the end.. This should make it more competitive for us all.
Robby can give ya more info if needed.

Hey George,
There are 11 SMRA Club members that are planning on flying this year (so far). The problem is the milage. If I'm right the greatest distance from member to member would be about 110 miles. That's about the distance between my house and Jerry's.
Hey Jerry,
Do you know if all of Ronnie's birds came back? It was pretty windy last week.

Robby,
Not sure on Ronnies birds. When I was at Bills last week, I think he said 7 came back, but cant remember for sure. I did try calling him this morning, but no answer.

My goal when I moved to Missouri was to start a state club or Southwest Missouri Roller Club. In California I organized All Breed Clubs, Specialty Clubs, and Roller Clubs. Incouraged many fanciers to join National Roller Clubs. In Modesto, California where I was born and raised and started Roller Clubs none exists today. The departure of Ken Billings and Ray Sanchez made a big impact in that area of the USA. Jack Myers is one fancier that can get it started again. This will be my seventh year living in Southwest Missouri. Three Districts exist in a one hundred and fifty mile radios. I helped organize all the Districts, judging, and reports up intil this year. This year, the SMRC consists of Secretary, Directors, Publicity Director, and Band Distributor. I have no intentions of competimg this year, but will attend the flys in all three Districts. Ten kits will keep me occoupied this year along with other interest. Rollers in the sport, Ray Sanchez.
