Yesterdy,I whent to Phill's houses,site where the benefit show will be held March 2nd.
I was surprized that out of the club's that where affected by the BOP issue,only the guy's that where arrested where there to prepair and clean up the place,we had one guy arrested and our club the San Gabriel Valley Spinners had members helping all day,i only asked 2 to come and help,but if i whould have called all 16 i think we could have got them all to come.(and our club is the smallest)
I hope these other club's that had a member affected by this will show up at the Show in full force and give their support.through the day and even help clean up after.

What about a Clubs dedication to support Flys ?
Its real easy to ask for Donations for a show but when its time to Collect entrys for the World Cup and Fall Fly all you hear is EXCUSES .
It should be a TWO WAY STREET .

Hector,
First off I want to say thank you for helping out yesterday and for everything else you have done.
List,
San Gabriel Valley Spinners have been like a family to me. They have helped me and the rest of the men giving this show to the fullest, like it was there show. Hector and Spanky have been calling around asking for donations as well as calling NBRC members and making them aware of the show. Thanks for Lionel for also showing up yesterday to help out. Keith and Rayvon mentioned that the SGVS is an awesome club that really cares about their members and is really a club that will get the respect of many others in the way they support many events and respect other clubs.
In behalf of all the members that are giving this show I want to thank all that have helped and all that have donated to the show.

George,
When you were the president of the SGVS how many club members competed in these fly’s? How many Las Vegas members are competing in these fly’s?
I just got into the competition and back into rollers as of late 06. And I have competed in all but one of our club fly’s, came in 4th overall after DQ the first 2 times. Flew in the Fall Fly and will be flying in all the fly’s I can this year. My brother David will be doing the same and also flew in the fall fly. I believe the SGVS had 11 members total but only had 8 members that really are full members and out of these members 5 flew the fall fly, now that’s 75%, how many clubs can say that?
So not only do we support other events and fly’s we also support each other. Now who can ask for anything more.
I also believe a good portion of us will be entering you LV fly and Spanky a SGVS member told the list about your fly.
I don't think you were talking about SGVS when you stated the above but just wanted to let you know how good this club has become.
Our club will be sponsoring the top 5 members in the WC and the FF. We will also be supporting the Put up fly and entering kits regardless of how bad some of us have the bop issue.
We thank everyone who has helped us and have shared their knowledge with us a new but strong club!

The Las Vegas Roller Club Members are reqiured to fly/enter in the Fall Fly and World Cup regardless if they are ready or NOT.
so we get 100% participation.
we strongley believe that the Birmingham Roller is a FLYING BREED.
As far as the CLUBS that ask for donations BUT dont support the FLYS, THEY KNOW WHO THEY ARE.

You guys dont know how lucky you are just to have a club to belong to. I am the only person in my whole town that flies pigeons. There is only one other person in 100 miles that flies rollers. We might just start a club and call it the Don and Paul club.

Hector and Efren and the rest of the SGVS just remember this and i'm sure you've heard it many times..."Opinions are like as...... everybody has 1"You guys got a great club and i hope i can be a part of it this year.Keep up the good work and the route you've taken!
