Any one know anything about Old English Tumblers ??
Do they Fly ?
do they Tumble ?
Do they even still exist ?
I had some as a kid and they were Cool I flew them and they tumbled and wing clapped .

George they still exist. Do they tumble? Not to my knowledge. They are as far as I have researched a show breed only. Some of us are putting together a list for newbies so they dont get tricked but the name "tumbler" or "roller" and get a bad taste in thier mouth right from the start like I did more than once. Fortunately I was a little hard headed and kept buying birds till I found some that did perform as advertised. There are more than 125 breeds listed as "tumblers" and "rollers" of which only around twenty actually perform. We hope to publish the list next quarter.

Had some Russian Trumpeters(least the guy told me they were russian maybe he knew my folks were commies and figured I'd like em cause they were russians,,,HAH) when I was a kid 1969 they had long boots and crests.They would flip as they were about to land on the edge of the roof.Never would trap hadta pick 'em off the neighbours 2nd story windowsill allatime at night.Can't remember how I managed that>?But put 'em on yer list there sip. ---------- Kel.
