Yes. You have one bird or two leading your kit which is performing on one wing. You need to figure out which one and take him out of the kit. The best way to do that is to perform the "Bubble Sort". Fancy term eh… This sort is performed by dividing your kit (20 birds) in half (10 birds each) and fly them separately. Determine which half still having the problem. Then divide the problem half by half (5 birds in each) and fly both halves separately and determine which half (5 birds) still having the problem and eliminate that bird. It is easier to find out which bird is causing the problem when they are flying in small numbers.

Try taking the cocks from the top perches of the kit box and introduce them one by one to find the culprit it worked for me its usually a dominant cock bird.
Also it could be food related.
Good advice given to me by Scotty Campbell

Usually when my birds keep flying on there left wing its because there to stronge. So when I notices that I break them down then youll see more figure eight and then left and right wings frequent i think in my opinion that there to stronge but I could be wrong but thats just my opinion and what ive experienced

People have told me to box the lot and release them a block a way. Keep this up until they break it. Give it a try. Some times my young birds will do this during one of their many learning stages. It usually passes quite quick - say two weeks. If it is a young bird team, give them some time and it should pass.

hi thanks for all your ideas, yes i have tried bringing them down, but the kit got no lift and a lot of the birds where bumping. they are between 13 month and 6 month old.
someone else has given me the advice about taking them a mile away but the kit sometimes comes out on the left wing and spirals away from home for an hour or more.
recently i have added 10 old birds 2 to 5 years old which broke the pattern for the first couple of days but now the yearlings have dominated the old birds and their back on the left wing. they never fly on the right wing always left.

If you got something going bad look at you dominate birds in the kit. They like the top row in the kitbox. Sometimes those dominate birds will be an older hen or two.

Also keep in mind that if you got good things going on with a kit it is due to those top row birds as well.

Think that J.Star has nailed this one,its usually the lead birds, often young cocks, the lead bird can sometimes make or break a kit,if at all possible I always fly a few steady old birds, with younger birds, they do it properly, good habits etc, younger birds learn, sadly both good and bad habits.
