Dale, sorry to get back to you a little late. Went to Tucson for couple of days.. The "old man by the sea" line is what Micheal Curtis cooked up ,out of Cornell Norwood line. The #544/#1344 cross with added plumber NL-74-#23. These particular birds are VERY NICE in the air (VELOCITY) and (TYPE). I still have this line running strong in my birds. Richard Luna

Richard, Do you know the story from Michael Curtis who the old man was, I have heard bits and pieces, let me know if you know the whole story. ---------- Dale SGVS http://builtforspeedrollerlofts.bravehost.com/

Dale - If I were you I would keep the old man by the sea blood separate for now and not cross them right away unless there is a need. Those birds can spin just as they are. Now if you need to cross that it different. Just my thoughts.

Dale yes I know the behind of the "old man by the sea" line, behind it. What you heard bits and pieces I would like to know what you heard to see if it's legitimate. I to was interested about the line when I was introduced to it and ask Micheal Curtis myself and got the full story Richard Luna

GLENN, They are truly NORWOOD LINE but not influnced breeding by Cornell.Mike got these birds from Jack Clegg and some from Cornell and took birds from this line and placed them at place at newport beach and bred them there. There for the name was adopted "old man by the sea". R-LUNA
