my pigeons are going in a body molt thay are 12 weeks old so i think that is a good thing. dose any 1 have the same thing

my young birds are going through puberty too. LOL..they are just 1 month & 1/2 old.

Just be careful when you fly them this is the time some may roll down on you. fly every other day or two.With rest and the right diet amount of feed, they'll be >active all the time. since they young give plenty of protein helps build muscles..

When they molting at the end of the wings i think its call quills is very painful around that area when they starting to grow new primary or secondary feathers.I read a post that Ken Billing talk about that this is when you can tell if the roller is in control of the roll or control by the roll .they usually fly but not roll as much controlling them self .then they are those who can't and roll down and some are afraid to come out of the kitbox when they molting.so alot of rest is needed and warm epson salt bath.and of cause the proper diet that would help them with the molt.
