Nice show NCRC... I enjoyed every bit of it. Nice to meet you Bigwilly and nice dog you got. Nice birds for auction and show birds .Finally nice to met new people who come to this forum . Food was great. i won a carrying crate on the raffle..i couldnt ask for a better day . Hope to be there next year. till then take care and good luck ...

Same here...had a blast! i also won a couple of birds ?(2 pair). that was the firs show i even went to. and i'm glad i did.abd Yeah the Food was GREAT. i hope i'll get some good offspring out off them. hope to see you guys next year again....

PLS, did you get the Dave Henderson and the Joe Urban Pair??? Good Luck...Good thing it didnt rain till after the show was over...There were a lot of great looking birds there...Could of wish i took some pics but too bad i didnt have a cam with me...Didnt get a chance to meet everyone...Maybe next time...Peace

The bird that was there with my band # was a bird that I had given to Miguel back in 2006. I didnt put anything in the auction this year. Not sure how she worked out for him but he did tell me he got some nice birds off of it. It is off of my 35 cock and he has thrown many great producers. I hope she works out well for you. The other birds from Dave I am not sure about but Miguel told me the same about them ,that they produced well for him. Joe

Hey, guys! Thanks for coming to the NCRC fundraiser show. Everyone really seem to have a good time. I got to meet several of you in person, Look forward to seeing you all again, Big WIlly, Sid Love, Chai and the others I knew already like Chor and Jesse.
Ken and I had taken some pictures and if I can get my wife to post them here I can put on a few. I took some for our local bulletin.
The judge Joe Houghton seemed to take his time and judge the birds to his best abitlity. Guys who needed birds got some good pairs to work with. Free food is always a plus!
Thank you Tony for letting us post here for the NCRC show. I plan to get one of those flags that Paul has from your catalog. Kevin Naylor did a great job organizing the event. Thanks again for your support! Bill C

Hi Bill C, its me Chai...I have a question about the NCRC Club??? Do you have to know people in there to join the club or could anyone join??? Im interested but i dont have any BR to compete but i would love to aquire some BR in the near future when i could find a family to work with...Right now im just working with the Whittingham and Fireball Family but interested in bringin in a family of BR to work with...chai_ch3ngsta@hotmail.com Let me know how to get in...Thanks...

Hi CHai, the club had introduced some rules to join the NCRC which includes to be a member you have to have a sponcer who can sponcer you in the club. It is not a click club but due to theft the club had to indroduce some kind of guide line to protect the members.
I once gave 10 birds to a guy here in Sac area and soon his frind and cousin called me wanting birds so I gave them some kit birds also, then I had many guys calling me for birds and I didn't know any of them. I had to tell them I am not a pigoen factory and had to turn them down after the fourth guy. Most of the comp guys need their young birds to compete with, but many are willing to raise a few for guys now and then after he is done raising his own birds. I cannot use this site to promote selling birds in fact I have not ever sold a bird. Since Tony has a fine group of birds for sale here. You could get started with a few good birds. I know of Paul who has some good birds and many of his birds came from Tony. Paul has a few crosses and is one of the top flyiers here. So getting a few from Tony would be a great start. There were also some squeakers for sale at the show that nobody wanted to buy that were some darn good birds. They sold for $30 for all of them. That is what the fund raiser was for, to make the club some money to contunue and for guys to get some birds that were top quality birds that are hard to get ahold of.
As for me I personally want to see if a guy has the space and kit boxes before I was to give him some birds. But like I said, you can get some good birds to breed from here at Tonys site. It helps pay for this web site along with pigeon products.
I got side tracted, now for joining the club, you need to have a friend or get to know some of the guys in the club and the sponcer needs to be able to say I know this guy. There are some restictions when joining the club such as you cannot bring people around with you to the flys. I have had guys tell me they had all there birds stolen twice in one year from guys who visit them. Why do they have those guys over to there house? This is the problem, so like any group or club you have to be careful. I have some Bonzai trees and at that group its the same thing. People talk about so and so got all their trees stolen last week. Once you get to know somebody in the club, they can sponcer you and they have their reputation on the line so that way it helps to have integrity in the club with its members. Once you have known a guy for a while ask him if he will sponcer you. That is how to be a member of the NCRC.

Well thanks for the advice Bill...I know a few people in the NCRC club but i dont want to bother them to sponcering me in...I'll just stick to my backyard flying...I know how you feel...I sold 15 kit birds to a friend and a week later he called me and told me that one of his relatives friends came over and stole all the birds...I was pissed off because i put a lot of time and effect in raising my birds so i know how you feel you Bill...Seen Paul F. birds fly and they are great birds...I didnt bid on any birds at the auction because i wasnt planning on buying any at the time...I was just there to meet people and friends. I had fun at the show and I see a lot of great birds there...Welp Talk to you later Bill...Take Care...

The show was awesome.....met alot of flyers...and i enjoy every minute of it...i got three rollers from thea and hopefully it will produce some very good birds for me...i got the dave henderson cock and the joe urbon hen....and a blue bar cock from joe houghton....even joe urbon talked to me about the bird...he said he gave it to miguel...yeah that's the pair that i got from the pair...
