Anybody fly DH birds, if so would like to know if certain color birds are deeper than others. Like his red checks might be deeper then his grizzle etc.

i bought 4 prs. from him 3 yrs. back, have had my best luck with the blue bars. red checks had heavy rolldowns, so with a little work they might work good too.

Hillsida,
My brother has been working with Danny's birds for a couple years now. Danny's deepest line at the moment is his ash red bar line down of 580, I believe.

hey,
i bought some bout 2 years ago. i flew to the east coast to visit Danny H. and took some rollers home. i hand pick 5 hens....i still have them! this year i'am not breeding them. they were okay...they bred HoT birds for me...i've cross them to my family and got some roll down...and some good ones. I bred about 50 cross's and only 5 made it to my #1 team...so good look to u

I've got a few and like them. When they start coming in to the roll it's important to keep them fed up for at least a couple of weeks or else there may be some casualties. The good ones usually straighten out and get a handle on it after a couple of weeks.

I flew his birds when I lived in midvale but I lived right by a freeway and the real deep ones would find a truck.
