I started this kit flying comp thing nearly 6 plus year ago. I was introduced and seen my first comp at Joe Embertons house who lives down the block from me. I got a flying kit and breeders from a memeber getting out at that time. I got a blue bar white flight hen and shes still flying in my kit .
shes a 2000 bird. ..which makes her 7 years old. Shes a very smart bird and escapes the bop everytime and for 7 years. Last 2 times i flew the bop was down in my yard looking for her and she had already hidden ...LOL.
I did not fly her any diffrent then other bird. Which makes this bird #1 for a escape artist ..What is ur oldest flying bird??

My oldest is an 05 and I just am hanging on him to see if he ever will roll. His brother from 06 is an excellent bird.

I had a couple that were 98-00 that I was flying last year but lost them to the BOP. It has gone real bad for the last couple of years. I still have one that is a 95 but for breeding only. I will try him out again soon he is resting at this time.

I flew a 99 hen up til last fall. I had bred from her a few times but wasnt happy with results. She was a good kit bird, very good velocity. She becama little less frequent with each subsequent re-fly effort. Flying several 04's and one 03 right now.

The oldest bird that I ever flew was 14 years old, and she stillrolled good. But that was before the falcons came into the picture. Her first two years I kept her in a box because I didn't have a cage.
But now it's a whole different game...
