Does anyone use the Ivomec drench in their bath water? How much do you use? How often do you use it? Is it safe to give to birds that have squeeks? Does it work for internal(worms) and external(lice) parasites?

hello dexter i have used it and i have very good luck for worms i put one drop in each bird mouth. the next day you can see the worms.if you give it to them make sure take the grit out.i never trid it for bath water so i cant say.hope all go's good let me know

I had heard about using the drops in the mouth before. I was wondering how effective it was when used in the bath to kill lice and worms?
(Being from Hawaii, I like your handle. Brings back memories of younger years.)

Ivomec can be used in the bath but I prefer permectrin. Permectrin can also be mixed and used in a spray bottle for treating individual birds. It kills ants and spiders around the loft too.

Hey Dexter, the Permectrin is just an insecticide. It wont work on worms. Im sure someone will also comfirm this as well.

the only time i treat when breeding is when sitting eggs. you shud treat 6 weeks befor u pair up.

Hey Dexter, no it's not for worms but it's cheaper than using Ivomec for the bath.
