Ahh yes... a real dandy one there. Your red mottle is a naturally beautiful pigeon. Higgins definitely has some nice looking rolling pigeons in his family. As a man dedicated strictly to performance, I must say that you are blessed 155 to have such an attractive bird in your loft. You know what they say:

====> Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

...but

Come to think of it.... there are some nice looking pigeons in practically every family of rollers that I've seen over the years. I guess it all just comes down to what we like to watch in the air and what type of birds we can actually get our hands on these days.

MEMO: Beauty in nature is a collective idea, and, though its essence exist in each individual of the species..., never can its perfection inhabit a single specimen.

Someone on here said not to long ago that if it has white flights it's not a Red Mottle ,but rather a Red Spangle. Is this right?

Now I was thinking the same thing Luis:

====> "if it has white flights it's not a Red Mottle ,but rather a Red Spangle."

Hmm....

What a coincidence.

Yeah Marcus, the subject of color is a difficult one.We all call birds of a particular marking different names!I think we all need to get on the same page with this because it's funny when peds say one thing but it really is another.I learn a little something everyday and pass it along when i can.

Mottles and spangles are definely beautifull colored birds. The family I have are the same as Ralph Hilton and he got them from Bill Pensom. In the roller sport, Ray Sanchez.
