Hey I have basically finished my kit/loft. I will putting birds of all ages in it. Is this a good idea or will they not fly properly. Should I have birds the same age in there? Or should I not fly my own, except for my babies, and also buy new ones?

They're easiest to train as a kit if they're all born within a couple weeks of each other, like 20 or so birds at once.Or even a kit of 10 or 12 all close to the same age.If you have birds of different ages some fly better than others and they won't kit as well right away.Once your YBs are several months old then add older birds if you have to,but I'd fly my YBs seperate from the older birds for awhile at least. Those older birds you have that haven't been flow may not fly the time you want them to fly(1/2 hour or so)so causing the YBs to land early.Try getting them up and see what happens and make adjustments from there.
