The 2008 World Cup is here .. time for the RUBBER TO MEET THE ROAD, PUT EM UP, OPEN THE KIT BOX, ETC.
It should be a good time to get out and see some kits and meet some new people, I want to wish everyone and their BIRDS lots of luck this year.
I want to personaly thank all the the people that enter and the judges and regional directors and everyone involved with the World Cup.
Who is flying this year ??

Gonna try for the heck of it and to support the W/C.The henery makes it difficult tho.

I will try to fly. I will be holding them in as long as possible, hopefully they will get it together before my fly.
I don't have much of a chance with what the henery left me from last year.

My thoughts are that the BOP make it hard for most people to compete.I think the best thing we can do is just enjoy our birds as much as we can.When my birds do get to fly unmolested it sure is a good feeling watching them perform even if I am here in my backyard by myself.

Paid our fees on Sunday. SGVS paid for the top 5 members to fly in the W/C. I'm trying to hold in my #1 as long as I can or I won't have a kit to fly. Lost my B team. only have 8 birds left...

I will enter to qualifiers for the finals from our region also if all goes well.

I don't know if I will be able to get the best of Joe Bob, Clay, Jay and Charlie in order to qualify two years in a row, but I sure plan to give a shot! I pulled four birds out of last year's team for the stock loft, and have replaced them with '07 birds, so we will see what happens. I have had them in the air the past couple of wekends and the winter lockdown does not seem to have any negative effect at all. They are kitting great and rolling fine...just not flying the time, yet.
