UK fliers,

Just got done watching a video 'The All England 2001 Fly' a friend in Germany sent me. I noticed that a lot of the birds there are either Bald, White Sided, Odd Sided, Badged or Grizzle. Is this normal for you fliers there?

I am not use to seeing so many white feathered birds being flown by the top fliers. The I have seen are more harder colored like selves or have less white. It strikes me weird how the English Fliers are breeding their birds like they are and the US Fliers have a totally different out look. Shouldn't our birds be of the same color - as of the same performance?

Any who, just rambling... I really enjoyed viewing the DVD of the fly. Do not understand one bit of what was being said but enjoyed it all the same. Very nice setups you guys have over there. Very different as well as your kit box are more spacious than ours over here in the states.

I think you wrapped it up precisely about the colours of birds we fly over here in the UK.
Most lofts of competition flyers you will always see some of the following colours, White flighted birds balds, saddles, odd sides, Grizzles, mealy`s blues and blacks although we do have self's amongst our birds.
Thor i dont think i have seen this dvd in 2001,
Who recorded it.?

I don't know who recorded it. The camera man was not viewable. I'll see if I can watch it again and catch the name of the camera man. If I had to guess, I would say it was Heine Bijker. Like I mentioned, I barely could understand most of what was said. I'll try to watch it again and see if I can confirm it.
