I just wanted to share some good feelings. I was out flying my young rollers and about 4 or 5 out of a 11 bird kit finally gave me some 10 foot beautiful rolls. It just feels good To see what you bread and train and watch them grow and become beautiful pigeons. I hope I'm not the only one.
Does any body feels the same!

I flew mine yesterday, they were working real good. not great style and not real deep, kinda sloppy to tell the truth. but still it was fun to watch their fat butts trying to work again,... and then today they looked real bad. thats the way it goes. still feels good to get `em flying. 2 days in a row. ---------- Butch @ Sundance Roller Lofts

I am almost ashamed to post this after reading some of your plight with BOP, but I have been flying every day except for the storms. I flew today and actually had a close to full kit break. I was half looking so I dont know how many broke. But it was a wow! moment for sure.

Well your all so lucky. I can't even fly any of my birds. All mine are nesting. But I have 10 eggs. Can't fly them either but won't be long.

Glad some folks can enjoy their birds, here in the SGV the hawks are tearing me up.Lost 2 very young birds that were getting strong on the wing! One to a Red tail and 1 to a peregrine falcon. Also had an older one come back with its intestine hanging out so he had to be put out. That's 3 more gone. It's amazing the number of BOPs i'm seeing!!!

Kel dont come to Fl. if you dont want BOP I see several every day. I just fly two or three kits of FOR's before I turn any hawk bait out. I am flying seven kits now and I turn the comp kit(I hope) out next to last. I turn out the Hawk Troop veterans out first, then the young FOR kits next, then the Galati's, which are souped up rollers, then the BR's, then the Fireballs. The Fireballs got hit by one of those untrained Yankee hawks yesterday.LOL Yall need to train them that pigeon isnt on the menu. He went away empty handed but scattered a kit to hell and gone. They all came back before dark though.

Well here in SW Florida there is a lot of BOP but I guess the ones where I live are not so bad. You see there's not a lot of pigeon fanciers here so I guess the bop around here don't know the scoop on how pigeons are easy targets. I hope it never gets to bad here. I wonder if anyone will ever build something to deter BOP from pigeons you never now.

No,thinking closer to the equator than Florida. My wife is from Colombia in South America and I've been there several times to hang out the last time being last xmas and that was the first time I've been there since I've been into flying pigeons again.I looked everywhere and asked around and you just don't see raptors down there.Just vultures and in the south of the country there are condores. There are feral pigeons and wild doves galour so it has to be a good place to fly Rollers.Figure by the time I'm 60 should be living there in the Andes mountains with a penthouse apartment and kitboxes on the roof.Just a dream now but if a person doesn't dream ya can't make it reality. ---------- Kel.
