How many of you guys STOCK Birds just because of the COLOR ?
And this includes any and every Color.
its just a question , so dont try to make something out of nothing.

I have a silver barless hen that has been in the kit box for 2 years.She has never really showed much but I kept giving her a chance because of her color.Tony

If i know it comes from a good back ground and from proven birds ill stock it thats just me!

Only have had birds a couple years but other than the original breeders I was given,the only bird I've stocked is a dark check hen.I like my badges and baldies with the deep pure blacks and light blues but none of them will get stocked till they've proven themselves in the air and outflown the BOPs for 2 full seasons.Pretty hard thing to do these days with all the damn henery and coopers hawks,but if I can't move forward by stocking birds that have proven their worth to ME,I'll just keep breeding the stock I have till I get lucky.

I have stocked birds without flying them because I have gotten them from top breeders and have seen the full brothers/sisters in the air or the breeder has stocked them and have had great results from them. Color is not that big of deal to me but if one of these birds that I have stocked looked like any of those Mosaic ones I would like them just that much more.
