Rudy,
These are the birds I got from Spike I told ya about..Not the best picture taker, but you get the idea...

The Baldhead cock is Bills, as well as the Black cock.

Hey Thor,
These are some type of cross that I have been working on for the past 17 years. The type is all wrong, and the color...well, I just cant seem to get them to come out solid black, solid red, solid gray, solid brown...I think the next 17 years I will attempt to get the "type" back to where it was.

These are what we in Missouri call "outback rollers".

Thanks Efren,
Those are some that a local guy sent me home with. They are the same blood from the same guy as what I started with, and still have.

I meant it in a good way. I'm just not use to seeing that much chest on the birds found here. The majority of the birds residing here are of the long casted type.

Yours remind me of the Kumro stuff. How do they perform?

Hi Jerry,
That red bald head has to be a Ray Sanchez bird.. Looks like his stock to me.. I like the bald, the blue self and black best myself.. I'm a sucker for a black mottle but I find their percentage of really good one's to be low.. I know many will say they are their best.. Lucky you! LOL I just have not found the right ones yet. Nice birds Jerry.. KGB

Good eye Kenny,
Yes the bald head cock bird is from Bill Roy, via blood from Ray. Bill has a small sample of Rays stuff, and has been happy with the quality thus far. The black cock is also Bills stuff. He has produced some nice stuff so far. The baldhead cock is just mated up. I had him on a nice dunn hen that wouldnt lay. Bill gave me a blue check wht/flt hen 2 weeks ago. They are on eggs as of 2 days ago. I hope to raise something good from that pairing, as it will be a start to a side family..Thanks again Kenny

Thor, I was just pulling your leg..Yea these birds are a little heavier in the chest area as some that I have seen. Those birds have actually been in the loft so they are pretty fat..

JT,
I try to raise them with the larger chest muscle, which in return, gives me more meat when I eat them. The smaller chested birds are kind of like women, in which the smaller the chest, the less they do for me.

That is some funny stuff. More meat means good eat :)

I noticed your birds resemble a lot like the Kumro photos I have seen. Very strong in the chest area.

I recall watching a Ohio video once where Joe Roe talked about being heavy in the chest is just as bad as not having enough.

Thanks for confirming what I thought. Can't be too sure now a days with some of these guys on here. Some guys post photos of their birds just to hear positive comments... when they don't, they go into a crazy rant. I myself would love any comments about my photos. Gives me more insight to think about.

Thanks again for sharing,
Thor

Same here Thor, but I want to hear the negative comments too! It's all about learning for me! If someone tells me that a crappy bird looks good, I have learned nothing! No need to sugar-coat for me!
