Hey guys, just thought I`d post up a pic from our annual club meeting here in Indiana. The turnout was smaller than normal because some of the guys got snowed in and couldnt get out. It was still nice to get together with some of them that I dont see much.

Thanks guys. The picture doesnt do the club justice, as there are 80 members in Indiana now. And 7 fly regions, from north to south.
Charlie Folkening started the Southern Indiana Roller Club about 20 years ago or more and has been President for most of that time, up till last year. He`s done a lot for all of us here and still, at 82 years young, does more than his share to keep it going. Most of my Jaconettes came from Charlie, who got them straight from Richard Jaconette.
He`s given many ,many birds to people thru the years, including kids who want them for 4H. Along with members and newbies like myself to get us started. My first REAL ROLLERS came from Charlie.
My hats off to you Charlie Folkening. The S.I.R.C. is proud to have you and we are proud you gave us this fine club to roll in...

Oh, Jerry. Grumpy Joe really aint so Grumpy. You`ll never meet a more up beat roller guy.
And Loco, I`ll tell him you said hi, and I`ll ask about the Tiki lounge. Knowing Joe, that sounds like just his kind of place to hang out. Well, mine too...LOL ---------- Butch @ Sundance Roller Lofts

Butch Hey it was great to meet you and the rest of the group, most of them I met for the first time there. This was my first meeting with the club and I hope to become more active in it. You are right about Charlie F. he is a wonderful guy who would do anything to help the club or anyone who was interested in rollers. He is the reason I am a member of the club and he has helped me out with some nice birds. Unfortunatley several of the birds that I lost to the weasle a few weeks ago were some young birds out of birds from him that were late hatches from last year that I did not get to fly much. Hope to see more of you and the rest of the group in the future. John

Sure thing John. I`ll try to get down there for a fly or two this year. I`m hitting the Kokomo division around May I think. It was good to meet you too. Wish you better luck with the birds and that Weasel. You need to get him trapped or he will be back sooner or later. ---------- Butch @ Sundance Roller Lofts

I have a live trap set but nothing yet. I coverd up the 1x2 inch wire with some 1/2x1 so I hope to keep them out now.
