Hello all. Just graduated my last set of platoons and I am done sir done as a DI on the Drill Field. It's all about training the birds now for me. Don't think I'll be missing Parris Island any time soon. Quick note: Any young man or woman that got off the bus in the past three years whether fat, small, tall, ugly, stud, etc should be commended. They were and are some outstanding young Patriots. The USMC didn't offer a piece of what the other services offered and they came to answer the call to defend our country. If you know or helped send one of these individuals thank you also. Anywho, I'm all about the birds. I have paired my birds again, culled the extras, BOPs got a few of the ones I put up. I just ordered the 4 in 1 from this site, would this 4 in 1 help with de-worming my birds? I don't know if they have worms(don't think they do). Some are light and they have been locked down forever and I have fed them up pretty good the past week with all they could eat. They have always been healthy, kept pretty clean and I have bred all that I have except four left from '02, no birds introduced. Should I de-worm any way and if so, what is recommended? I am going to have my birds setting inside a week and the 4 pairs should be on eggs soon, will de-worming and 4 in 1 be not good for egg production and squabs. Should I bust the first set of eggs until fully medicated? Thanks, ChaChi

I think Tony could answer all those questions for you especially if you helped to support this site.

Chachi, first of all, I want to thank you for serving our country!!!!
I would definatly worm the birds and it wouldn't hurt to dose them with 4n1 for 5-7 days! Might talk to Tony on that one but I would definatly worm them if its been awhile! Specially if there light and your feeding them plenty!
If they lay during this time, I would candle their eggs after 5 days, if their full, let them be, if not, chunk them and let them try another round! ---------- Val
