It may be too early to ask this because she is young. But if you had a good trigger bird that performed in the front of the kit but rolled sloppy would you leave her in the kit for comp.

Continue to fly her with the younger birds. I would not fly her with the oldest kit, as she could not be valuable to the more experienced birds. There would be no problem flying her to see if she continues to be sloppy.

She is a young bird, around five months old She should improve. But most of the young birds will break when she does. Mostly waterfalling right now, some as young as nine weeks. I have never had a trigger bird before. Or maybe I never watched as close when I wasnt planning on competing.

Corret JT. She will come to the front of the kit at the just a foot or so higher than the birds behind her and when she rolls most of the kit rolls with her. I like it. I was just wondering if she doesnt turn out to be comp quality would what those that competed thought about keeping her in the kit because hopefully she will trigger full turns.

You say hopefully she might trigger a full turn ,but that bird not having the quality you need in a comp kit could cost you on Quality points..when it comes to competition you want only the best up there.. now i don't compete but i fly my birds and train them like i do...

Hey Scott I bet you have some really good birds. It sounds like you do not play with them at all.

Willy I breed some very good ones and I also breed some very bad ones.
The best kit I have ever seen was in my own backyard,
and the worst kit I have ever seen was in my own backyard.
I am very critical on my birds, no doubt about it, if you aren't it will show, that is a given.
