Hi Roller Flyer's I would like your opinion in this? should I join a club like the NBRC there is no other club around my aria I now that the NBRC is every where. I sometimes feel alone with no one to share my love for the hobby. Its knot that I don't like this forum but sometimes its good to get with someone that shares the same love.

Hi Sippy I'm in Lee county I live in Lehigh Acres That's next to Fortmyers. I'm positive there is someone in the NBRC around here because the first rollers I bout from the flee market here in lee county and they all have NBRC bands. I'm new to the hobby and would like to hang out with someone with more experience, someone to take me under the wing. It would be nice if you know what I mean. Hope to join this week some time.

Thanks for the info, Sippy next time I go to see my grandad in Jacksonvile I'll like to see your birds in the air let me know if that will be OK.

pigeonman,
I would definitely recommend that you join the NBRC, read the monthly journal that you will get, and pay attention to the information posted on this site. You will make many friends and connections in the hobby and learn a substantial amount about rollers. Welcome.
Cliff

PS. You guys are putting together enough guys in Georgia to get into the competition game soon! That's when you will really begin to learn what this sport is all about, and that's when you begin to focus your efforts towards breeding better performance in your birds.

I do recommend you joining the NBRC for many reasons. One you will see other roller guys around your city that you didn't know about. Second you will get the journal with many information on rollers. Been in this forum makes the world smaller because many from different places are joint here for the same reason Rollers. If you need any information you can ask it here and shortly you will get an answer.

Pigeon man there is a lot of Roller guys in Jacksonville. I used to live over that way and got some good birds over there. There are some also on the Florida pigeon club site that are close to you and further south. Any time you come up and want to see my birds fly that is all I do. Just check a little in advance because my other hobby is going to the doctor. LOL
