I seperated 2 pairs so I can exchange the hens to one another. Both of them were ready to laid there eggs very soon. I lock them up in one of my kit box with out no cocks just the hens for 3 days both laid there first eggs inside the kit cage. I just put the hens to the new cock and both pair up today.

My question is will the next eggs be from the first cock or the second cock?

My other question if I remouve the second egg will they laid two more eggs again or till next time? I don't really care who eggs are they from because they all good. But I would like to be sure who is it from.

I read it takes 10 days after its fertilized for the hen to lay the egg, so if she lays with in 10 days of being with the new cock then its from the first cock
