This is going to be your first fly right? Fly hard, and let them show you what they are capable of. That's a nice kit, this was what you been waiting for huh. Now it's time to let them out of their loft and fly'em.

Good morning Andrew
You have some very nice looking rollers.... quite colorful I must add. I don't know what particular family (strain of rollers) you are working with, but I can see you transcend towards the colorful beauty in pigeons. Keep in mind that if you strictly care about performance, then color shouldn't become a major factor and you must set forth the agenda of reading your rollers.
Kit watching is mandatory to see just exactly what you have there. It's fundamentally important to take mental notes from the moment you liberate them to the air to fly as a kit, to the time when they come down to trap and get supper inside the loft. This is where the challenges will come as you control your birds activities with the feed.
NOTE: You can learn a lot from your kit birds by simply being alone with them and observing their physical and mental development over time. It may take you roughly 18 months or more to really get to know exactly what you have in the air... but.... believe me when I say it's worth it if you seriously love watching true Birmingham Rolling Pigeons.
Take care and best of luck!
