How old should your birds be to be placed in the breeding loft 4,5,6,moths a year, would like to fill the other two kit box.

Their usually old enough to breed around the 6 month mark. As to when to stick them into the breeder loft will depend on alot of things, but their performance in the air should be #1. Heck, some never leave the breeder loft since birth, and are bred from, so I guess any age is good for some breeders.

That will be great I have about 4 pairs that have given me young and right now I cant be picky I only have a total of 25 pigeons and that's with the 4 pairs so I need more to fill the kit box and then with enough birds then I can choose and be picky but there are a few that has caught my eye and I just have a gut feeling that I'll get some nice rollers out of them.

6 months would be great because they are more mature at that age. When they are too young, they lack confidant in caring for their youngs. One of my young who is only 2 months and already wants to breed. For some reason, that cock was the only one that my breeder ever produce that wanted to breed at that age, weird.

I agree they have to prove them self in the air along with bein 6months or older you don't wanna put a dudd in your breeding box ---------- D.T.R.C
