Used my 1/2 face mask today. It worked well 4 me.After breeding pigeons for many years without consideration for my lungs my doc told me my asthma was back!I had asthma until the age of ten and then it stopped.I guess breathing the dust and the Cali smog did me in.Take care of your lungs guys!you only have 2!!

Thanks Arlen, I learned the hard way! I had to start using a replaceable filter mask this year as I annually developed bronchitis, coupled with a strong sulpher taste in my mouth. Not any more! I also want to warn everyone of making sure to provide enough ventilation for their birds. It's not the cold that bothers them -just drafts! They can contract respiratory infection from the dust too! Even a bandana tied around your nose and mouth is better than nothing. Seriously I use a dust mask and a bandana safety glases, wear a cap and long sleeves. ---------- V99
