Seems like I posted this once but I can't seem to find it. I have one male that makes kind of a growly noise all the time, you know sort of that cooing noise they make if you scare them but he is always doing it. I sometimes wonder if it might be something to do with his breathing? He has 2 babies 5 days old and I don't know if I should try and medicate him or even if he is needing it. So I guess I'm asking if I can medicate while he is feeding babies. If he has something and feeding them they will get it. He seems just fine too me other than that cooing like noise coming from him all the time. Almost seems like labored breathing, but not really. (Boy I'm so good at explaining things aren't I)
And if you say yes I should treat him and his family, plus should I treat the rest of the birds too?

hello friend i would not med him wgil he is feeding the babys. it sound like you have a restportory promblum if you can take him out of the breeding pen and let the hen take care of the babys in to he gets better. if you leve him in ther he will pass it on to the babys and you dont want that to happen. it will be a good idea to do all the birds that are not breeding hope i could help you out. i will try that out if you can.
