Man i had a bad day,i hadnt seen a hawk in 3 days and today wow i got hit by 1 peregrin ,2 coopers,and 2 red tails. I lost 4 birds,3 got taken and one died later.
I dont know what im going to fly for our first club fly in 2 weeks.Hector Coya

Lost more than that just recently - 6 birds. Try losing two old birds and tell me how sick you feel inside. Hundreds of hours wasted within just those two old birds. Well, that is the flying life we all live in. First fly is in mid April. Tell me about it.

I said i lost for that day,Ive lost 70 since September.i put away 6 of my best in Sep,i pulled out 4 two weeks ago ,lost all 4 already.i know how you feel.Hector C

Sorry to hear that Hector it's still going to take some time for them to move on I saw about a dozen reds flying the other morning earlier then they normaly do so I think they were heading out. Good Luck see you soon.

That sucks Hector. Trust me I know how you feel. Lost 2 of my older ones today. The worst thing about it, one of them was my best bird. Don't know what kind of team I will have for our fly's and the w/c if this keeps up. Down to 20 birds total out of 4 kits. I should have been stronger and held them in.

I feel you bro. I don't think I would ever want to be where some of you guys are. Breeding 70 plus birds just to survive one season. I have a hard enough time trying to take care of 35 youngsters bred each year.
I'm bless where I a flying now. 6 in a day would be the normal lost for me at my old place. I'll take 6 in two weeks any day.
Flew the old bird team yesterday. They flew for 30 mins and all trapped in. A long 30 mins if you asked me with the recent losses. Feed was milo straight for the past 2 days. The team had been locked down for all most 2 weeks now. No bumpers! Surprised even me.
They definitely need more air time together as a team :( The Perry isn't helping.
