Yesterday which was my first time ever flying, was a success. Out of the seven that let out, 6 returned. Some of them quite surprised me especially this one:
HE ROLLED FOR A GOOD 3,4,5 SECONDS AT A TIME!

I would consider that flipping and not rolling. A roll to me is one that surpasses 10 feet or more then 10 revolutions per second. A revolution if you don't know is a compete flip - times that by 10 in second would equal a roll in my books.
Your clip in my opinion is of a mad flipper. That is the term I use here for young birds with out much control. I have had very good birds come from developers of that time. If it had the heart to kit and not disturb the over all make up of a young bird team, it would keep flying it. Otherwise, I really hate that type of a developer as it drives me nuts just looking at such a performer.
Thanks for sharing... hope you luck in your endeavors, Thor
P.S. If you are a back yard flier, that type of performer would be kick asse :) or not :(
Andrew, Are you saying that video is of a bird rolling??You'd better stop by here on your trip to Powell River in the summer and have a look at my Neible birds.Bring a cage.A 4 second spin is a pretty darn good drop,eh,like you can't even see the wings hardly. You're talking a 40-50 ft drop. ---------- Kel. Scott, have you heard about rollers in Alberta?Guys out there one bird rolls and they all jump up and down. Why give the kid illusions? ---------- Kel. Rum-30 Lofts
No he is for sure not a flipper; he went went higher up and rolled way faster earlier in the day; this was really close to the ground and later in the day. I will get a different video of him. :) ---------- Andrew

Kop, for your first time ever flying, anything that flips is a sight to see..especially if their your birds....
Now, when you get more time invested and are more experienced, you will understand what these guys are saying about that bird being a flipper..A true roller is one that you cant count the revolutions when it turns over backwards..
Have fun with what you have. When you want to get more serious, get birds that you know the background, and that roll in the correct manner.
Keep flying them Kopetsa and you'll get them going. Nice video. Try to take it with out the slow motion so we can clearly see it rolling. ---------- Efren Lopez SGVS
