Hi Jerry...
I was shocked to see a white pop out of the egg from a Red Tort and Blue Grizzle mating (half brother and sister). Same sire, but on a different dam.

yes it does look out of place when you look at the group as a whole.
That just goes to show what we get within our own family of rollers.
Is he a solid white, or does he have colored feathering also?..Bull eyed?

Don't think I'm a retard, but how do I make the photos bigger?
I know I have to go back to photo-bucket and do some trouble-shooting.

Good morning Pat....
Those squeaks are fairly pure "Black Country Rollers" from what I know of them. Except for the Red/White Badge oddside squeaker cock. Strong 514 genes crossed into the checque Plonas to create his particular line of high velocity spinners. As a matter of fact, he's the nephew to #439 Plona Bluecheck Hen 20ft tightspin/velocity.
...well anyway
I'm painstakingly working hard to biogenetically cross 3 distinct lines. Plona, 514 and Norm Reed bloodlines. The Reed & 514 are very similar in style-type and add frequency to my family of rolling pigeons. However, the Plona's have an exceptional range of depth (10ft-80ft) with breath-taking control, fly long periods and kit quite well. Just need to be more frequent that's all. Been working these birds in various back yards for several years now with a tremendous amount of success. I have Deep Spin satellite lofts in Oakland Calif, Baltimore Maryland and Seattle Washington.
Hmm....
I don't claim to have the best birds, but would truly like to be right up there at the top of my game with the best of them (top-notch flyers) in only a few more years.
I'm patient and will only breed the best I can just one clutch at a time. Heck... I have enough room in my barn for roughly 200 or more birds... but only keep about 50 rolling pigeons in there for right now. I like my family to be a healthy, clean and lean rolling machine. Don't believe in overcrowding and collecting unneccesary birds that will only run-up the feed and water bills.
Take care Pat...
