I'm from MN and know pretty much all the true fliers here. Who did you get it from and what does the band say? Does it have a MFRG band. If so, I don't recall Reds being any where near our recent years.

white = '08
Blue = '07
Pink = '06
Orange = '05
Green = '04
and so on...

From the looks of it, the black on there isn't past 1 years old.

Thor

P.S. Don't worry about the strain. Worry more about the person who you got the birds from.

i got this roller from a guy thats been gettin me good birds from a comp. guy that lives out in eagan, mn... don't kno the name of the guy that lives out in eagan.. but he sure got lots of pigeons.. pretty nice color.. i've bought 7 rollers from him.. but i have only flew one of his birds so far.. and that one rolls nice and tight... good 10 footer on his 1st flight.. haven't try then lately cus of hawks and falcons.. but i also thought the strain could just be a local guy.. jackoson could just be name after him cus he had them for about a good 20 to 30 years..

i ain't at home right now.. but i can check its band# later.. all the info is at home.. but that red hen in the back.. he said it was a fireball.. not sure which family of fireball but it was... haven't flown them yet..
also the red hen has short feather tail.. u guys know anyting about those rollers w/ short feather tail???

If he lived in Eagan, he would be flying in my region. I don't know of any one near there. The closest guy is my friend Brian and he is from Waconia. I'm pretty sure it isn't Brian's birds as I just talked to him and he recently lost about 100 birds to an disease out break.

Competition guy in Eagan. Dunno of any!

sorry guys to ask these questions.. jus wondering if anyone can help.. if not its cool... maybe i just buying the birds from the wrong guy that doesn't know his families.. i guess it doesn't really matters anymore.. I'll just let the performance do the talking...
