How young are they, and how much air time have they had?

Within a couple of weeks of when they start flying as a group, they should all fly together. Some are a little slow on the uptake, just learning to fly.

My oldest youngsters are 2 1/2 months old. They are flying about 20 to 25 minutes, and kit as well as my older birds...At the age of yours, they should be kitting well.
Try flying them more often, twice a day if possible.

that explains it ..birds should be out on the wings as soon as possible .6,7 or 8 weeks old. box them up keep them going.control the feed like Edgar said..could be your fault not theres but consistency is the key .keep working them..good luck..

I recomend that you fly them twice a day feed them one half a table spoon after the first fly then the other half after the second fly one table spoon per bird each day. If you could fly I know its hard specialy for all of us that work but try to fly them as much as you can eventualy they will kit its all on you and not the birds so good luck partner hope every thing go's good for you.edgar.

one cup for 20 birds ,that about 20 tablespoon depending what size cup you using..it doesn't really mean they going to eat one tablespoon each some eat faster some slower.but thats just the amount you want to give them.depending how they trapping if they need more.thats when it gets interesting learning what they need but not what they want..

heres what you do you go to Target,or Walmart you go to the kitchen section look in the spoon erea they should have mesuring spoons sets there about two to three bucks the whole set your only going to use the half a table spoon. You say you got eleven birds you put eleven half table spoons in a cup wich you will give to your bird when they finished flying try starving them for a day before you start this program I think its going to help you remember to fly your birds as much as posible and its twice a day if you know your only flying once that day give them a table spoon per bird it comes in the same set good luck.edgar.

PLS, One cup is more than 10 spoons. Please feed your 11 birds just one measuring cup of feed. if you don't want to purchase a measuring cup, then use a 6oz. Tuna can.

If you give your birds a tablespoon each or half of one, you will starve them. Remember that when the weather is hot, they require less feed and when it gets colder they require more feed.

first of all he is training them to trap and you need to cut on the feed just till they get the message and adjust from there. I feed my birds a tablespoon and they not starving,he just have to learn to read his birds and adjust from there.pick them up how do they feel light.or heavy.this is part of the learning process .some days you have to keep them in feed more and rest them .get them back strong, and back to your training again. .. good luck..

Thats good to hear that they kitting , but 5 to 10 minutes for traping too long keep adjusting the feed ,When my birds land they trap in before i count to ten.
Always feed your young birds even if you lock them in just adjust the feed accordingly.
NEVER deprived your birds of water.you can play with the feed but never the water.my water is always waiting for them when they come in at room temperature.but i never leave water in my kitbox.but i make sure they have there drink twice a day..thats my way everyone is different.depending on the weather..
