This sunday we are having our first club fly of the year,
Lets hope we dont get a visit from the hawks.
Im going to have some tuff competition this year,Spanky,Efren,and Robert Miller are out to get me.
New club rules,Anyone that would like to be part of the club must attend 3 fly's prior to be eligable to get in the club,all last year members that did not participate in any fly's last year must start attending 3 fly's before thay can rejoin the club,this rule was voted by the members that where precent at our first club meeting,we had too many non active members last year that didnt attend even one fly,we need better participation this year becouse there is new people that whould like to join,and we are limited to 16 members.
Visitors welcome by reference, people will wach the birds from the front yard, unless the flyers invite you in his back yard.

thats what im talking about Mr.Hector why join a club if your not going to be active member and not fly against your club members thats what i think thats why i dont join a club yet beacause i want to have a kit going and then join a club well good luck to you and your club members

Whats up Hector I think thats a good way to do things you all will do fine. If you need anything hit me up i'm there good luck in 08 and i'll see you on a fly or two.

I'm excited to get back into the mix. Scared of letting my birds out because I still have the bop's. Hope I don't loose any before the fly.

Hopefully I'll still have them for our fly and the w/c. Lost the black self that was spinning in the kit. That one was my top bird in the kit at the time. I'm sure the guys would have liked seeing it spin.

I just lost another one to the falcon,that leaves me with 3 old birds from last year,im going to need more than luck to do good for this first fly,LOL

Good luck SGV whats up Spanky you ready? Hector I don't know what to say but good luck and who knows maybe someone on hear can loan use some owls. Hey fellas I wonder if there's a way to sponser a owl release or something in our area.

It's still pretty bad. I've been lucky these last couple of days. Cooper and red tail came yesterday with no luck and the day before, I didn't see anything. I hope I get more days with no bops.

Man lost 2 of my older ones today. I let them out around 9:30am and it's not 2pm and nothing. I am still hoping I get them 2 back. They disappeared in the clouds and have not seen them yet. I'll keep my fingers crossed. I they don't come back that puts me down to 16 birds in my kit. I guess I'll have to fly the crap out of my young to get them going to fill up my kits for the w/c.

The Flying season just started guys {April 1st through Oct.31st}
Lock down from Oct.31st to April 1st.
How can that be Efren and Hector ?

Never Fly beteewn 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM and you will cut your losses .
Remember I flew in your area for 8 yrs I always tried to get my First kit in the air at daylight 7 days a week.
And if that was not possible I would fly at 5:00 PM . between 10 and 5 the thermals give lift to the BOP's and they love to Hunt during that time.
Of coarse this only applys during the season April 1st to Oct.31st
